After the past week's weather, I sure hope so.
I've come to the conclusion that “snow” is a four-letter Anglo-Saxon word.
Rain is a necessity. Is there any excuse for snow?

"Is there any excuse for snow?"Yeah--the reservoirs. Sorry, but [apparently] that's how the geography "works" in NYS--the streams/rivers feeding the reservoirs are fed by snowmelt. It's just the way it is, sorry.(Or would desalination plants be better?)
The water cycle would work just as well if the precipitation were in the form of rain instead of snow.
