Do Liberals Believe Scientific Data?

I am dubious about whether Jonathan Chait is an expert on judging scientific evidence.

Do you accept such evidence and what do you think of the implications of the fact that the waste did not move with respect to the surrounding rock (in particular, the implications for nuclear waste disposal)?”
